"Had vascular surgery on my leg done by Mr. Valenti. The initial consultations at London’s Bridge Hospital, the surgery at Bupa Cromwell hospital and the follow-up afterwards - all went smoothly and comfortably. Highly professional doctor (and a special thanks to his assistant Donna too!), kind attitude all the way. Even the surgery was a surprisingly comfortable experience - anaesthetics made me totally unaware of the process and I was home a few hours after it was done. Just a week of mild discomfort due to stitches and soreness. All bruises gone within a few weeks and now the scars are minuscule and the leg feels and looks new. I am a very happy patient".

"I rarely feel compelled to write reviews. But after my recent varicose vein surgery under the auspices of Mr Domenico Valenti, Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Bupa Cromwell, I feel it would be a disservice to let my experience go unnoticed.
Firstly, the before and after. My left leg: previously riddled with lumpy and painful varicose veins is now – only a week post-op – perfectly smooth and entirely pain-free. Mr Valenti is the master of his art.
And, secondly, the in-between. Bedside manner. It’s safe to say that consultants are prone to bad press on this front. However, I found Mr Valenti’s genuine care to be evident from pre to post op. And also, perhaps where it mattered most, on the day of the op. He sat close beside me on the hospital bed and, looking directly at me, explained everything and answered my questions. In other words, body language that spoke of care and assurance".
